This Black Woman is Making History with Her New Talk Show Created to Inspire & Motivate Black Entrepreneurs Across the Globe

Mary Evans - S.O.S Show

Mary Evans is the type of entrepreneur we all dream of becoming– hardworking, consistently motivated and successful. Building a profitable business is second nature to her. Entrepreneurship is in her blood. Her mother always had a full time job and a side business as a caterer. That’s why it’s no surprise that she’s a serial entrepreneur with a 20+ year track record of taking businesses from zero to a million, real quick. She started her first business (in the transportation industry) as a single mother with only one employee.

Mary Evans, Founder & Host of The S.O.S Show

She initially thought the transportation business would only compliment the income she earned from her job. However, it grew into something BIG. She went from having one van and one employee to multiple vans and employees. She was so busy she had to leave her full time job to run the business. She has now committed herself to helping other entrepreneurs realize their dreams, especially those in the black community. This is why she created Sharing Our Stories, (aka The S.O.S Show) a live talk show designed to motivate and inspire black entrepreneurs (and the black community in general).

Sharing Our Stories – A Live Talk Show for Black Entrepreneurs & the African Diaspora

Sharing Our Stories is a TV show that entrepreneurs can watch to learn how to save, invest and build generational wealth. It’s also about advising people of color on life issues. No matter what you are going through, you can watch the S.O.S. Show and hear from someone you can relate to. Mary and her team hosts a multitude of different guests on the show. From activists like Dr. Umar Johnson to comedians like Joe Torry, there is sure to be someone on the show who will motivate and inspire you to reach your full potential in life. The S.O.S Show gives people hope, hope to reach their goals and manifest their dreams despite their circumstances.

Mary’s Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs – Keep Going

If there’s one thing that Mary has learned, it’s that entrepreneurship is much harder than looks. There can be struggle behind the glitz and glamour of it all. One minute you’re making the most money you’ve ever made in your life…and the next minute you don’t have enough customers to keep your doors open. If it’s one piece of advice she could give to aspiring entrepreneurs, it’s to keep going regardless of the challenges you face. Mary also says building a business shouldn’t just be about money but also about passion. Do what you are passionate about and profit from it. That will keep you going through the hard times.
